At Lab Bridge, we strive to provide a smooth and transparent experience for users booking lab tests and healthcare services through our platform. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the conditions under which cancellations and refunds may be processed.
By using our Platform, you agree to this policy.
1. Appointment Cancellation by User
Users may cancel their booked appointment/test subject to the following conditions:
Cancellation Before Confirmation
If the appointment or test booking has not yet been confirmed by the lab or service provider, the user may cancel it free of charge.
A full refund will be processed if payment has already been made.
Cancellation After Confirmation
If the appointment has been confirmed:
- More than 24 hours before appointment: Eligible for full or partial refund depending on the partner lab's policy.
- Within 24 hours of appointment: Cancellation charges may apply.
- Less than 2 hours before appointment / No-show: No refund may be provided.
2. Cancellation by Lab / Service Provider
If a partner lab, hospital, or healthcare provider cancels the appointment due to:
- Unavailability of staff
- Technical issues
- Service disruption
- Location/service not available
The user will be eligible for:
- Full refund, or
- Free rescheduling (subject to availability)
3. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be issued in the following cases:
- Duplicate payment
- Failed transaction but amount deducted
- Service not provided
- Incorrect billing amount
- Cancellation eligible under this policy
Refunds will not be issued for:
- Completed tests/services
- Delay caused by user
- Missed appointments / no-shows
- Incorrect details provided by user
4. Refund Processing Time
Approved refunds will be processed within:
- 5–7 business days for UPI / Wallet payments
- 7–10 business days for Credit/Debit cards
- 7–14 business days for Net Banking / Bank transfer
Actual processing time may vary depending on the payment provider or bank.
5. Rescheduling Policy
Users may request to reschedule appointments subject to:
- Lab/provider approval
- Availability of slots
- Advance notice requirements
Additional charges may apply in some cases.
6. Non-Refundable Charges
The following may be non-refundable:
- Platform convenience fee
- Processing fee charged by payment gateway
- Home sample collection charges (if already assigned)
7. Failed Transactions
If payment is deducted but booking is not confirmed:
- The amount may be automatically reversed by the payment gateway/bank.
- If not reversed within 7 business days, users can contact support.
